MÉTIER OF SUPPLY PLANNER

The Supply Chain Manager deals with all activities related to a specific procurement plan, responds to customer needs and expectations, and is receptive and efficient.

DISCOVER MÉTIERS OF SUPPLY CHAIN & LOGISTICS

Supply Chain Management position holders are responsible for defining the supply chain strategy, managing planning and execution capabilities to reach appropriate service levels.

Forecast & Planning teams are in charge of demanding definition of and satisfaction with appropriate availability service level. They are also responsible for procurement of raw materials according to forecasted demand.

Logistics teams are in charge of defining and managing physical flows of goods from suppliers and production units to warehouses, and from warehouses to point of sales.

Methods, Projects & Referentials teams are in charge of developing one or more processes. They design the process and its efficiency, monitor its performance and implement improvement actions.

After-Sales teams are in charge of coordinating all after sales product management and flows to and from stores: info and pricing information to clients, delays, coordinating after sales and quality processes.

I’m Technical Director for Women’s Ready-to-Wear at Louis Vuitton. My role is to bring the vision of our Creative Director to life by transforming the ideas into amazing pieces. These creations all attest to the savoir-faire and technical skills found in our workshops. One of the distinctive features of our ready-to-wear is the techniques employed to mix and match different materials.

I’m Leather Goods Industrialization Officer Men & Women at Givenchy. I take care for all technical aspects of producing leather goods, from start to finish. In other words, my job begins when I get a sketch from the Givenchy designer. I have to bring this sketch to life, selecting the best production methods and materials to make the piece.
