LVMH Fashion Group is seeking a motivated Data Engineer Intern to support critical data initiatives across North American operations for our five luxury brands, ensuring solutions align with both business objectives and departmental goals. This role offers hands-on experience in ETL development, data modeling, and Power BI reporting, with the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams in finance, logistics, HR, and global data units. We’re looking for a detail-oriented team player with a proven technical foundation, a proactive mindset, and a passion for leveraging data to drive insights within the luxury sector.

Job responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Data Project Support: Collaborate with the Data & BI Manager to execute key projects that meet maisons objectives and local departmental needs.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with finance, logistics, and HR departments, as well as headquarters data teams, to understand and capture data requirements.
  • ETL & Data Processing: Design and manage ETL workflows, ensuring smooth integration of data from various sources.
  • Data Modeling & Data Warehousing: Apply data modeling and warehousing principles to structure data for optimal storage and analysis.
  • Power BI Reporting: Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, providing insights that empower data-driven decisions.
  • Quality Control: Uphold data accuracy and integrity by implementing automated quality control processes.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical and process documentation to support project workflows and data solutions.

Key competencies:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ETL development, SQL, Python and Power BI (including building visuals, DAX, and Power Query).
  • Data Modeling & Warehousing Knowledge: Solid understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
  • Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Educational Background: Currently pursuing or holding a master’s degree in engineering, data analytics, or a related field; proficient in MS Office.
  • Professional Skills: Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and an excellent communicator.
  • Team Player: Collaborative and eager to support colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
  • Growth Mindset: Willingness to learn and adapt, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

The compensation for this position is $16-$25 hourly. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
