CELINE IS SEEKING A VIP INTERN FOR SPRING 2025!
DATES OF ASSIGNMENT: JANUARY 6TH, 2025- APRIL 4th, 2025

Job responsibilities

Tasks and Responsibilities

Key function: The VIP Freelancer is responsible for supporting the VIP Team in daily responsibilities. They will be accountable for leading sample trafficking with the Paris HQ office and VIP stylists, and LA office. Including scheduling and tracking domestic and international logistics, managing the organization and presentation of the showroom and sample closet, monitoring VIP dressing images, performing talent and competitive research, and compiling weekly press reports.

In practical terms:

Sample Requests and Trafficking:

• Submit editorial and dressing VIP requests to Paris Headquarters for approval daily.
• Lead communication with stylist assistants regarding sample send outs and returns
• Maintain image inventory of New York based VIP samples and compile dressing proposal PDFs to send to stylists
• Utilize Launch Metrics platform to input new samples, manage New York VIP sample inventory, and track VIP send-outs.
• Manage dry cleaning and steaming of New York VIP samples to ensure all pieces are sent out or presented in pristine condition. As well as steam, button and hang all returned samples before putting them back in the show room.
• Uphold organization of sample closet and merchandising of current men’s and women’s collections in the showroom.

Shipping & Logistics:

• In charge of the packing of all samples coming in and out of showroom
• Coordinate messenger services to pick-up and drop-off samples from stylists and VIPs both in New York and LA.
• Arrange domestic and international sample shipments, by contacting the vendor, preparing the proforma invoice and tracking delivery.

Profile

Showroom & Sample Closet:

• Maintain organization and presentation of the showroom and sample closet on a daily basis
• Weekly replenishment and monitoring of supplies for the kitchen and closet

VIP Image and Press Monitoring:

• Check photo agencies periodically throughout the day for images of celebrities wearing brand products.
• Maintain regional VIP announcement media list, by tracking editorial shifts and updating contact information accordingly.
• Check the social media periodically throughout the day for VIPs wearing CELINE
• Conduct a thorough daily press search to find any coverage of VIPs wearing CELINE on all digital press outlets

Strategy and Research:

• Research rising talent within entertainment and music industries that fit within brand aesthetic and could be of interest for potential collaborations, including Award Season partnerships, collection show presence or potential campaigns. Compile monthly report recapping emerging talent to share with the VIP manager.

VIP Gifting:

• Manage the logistics for seasonal gifting initiatives. Including receiving product and packaging materials, gift wrapping, and shipping
• Shipping/coordinating monthly birthday gifts (i.e. sending the calligraphed note and gift to the florist and ensuring a safe delivery to the VIP)
• Managing logistics for show invitations and gifts

• Extremely detail oriented, with an organized manner of working.
• A team player who works very well with others and communicates clearly and articulately.
• Able to adapt and multitask in a fast-paced office environment with high pressure situations, while possessing a strong sense of urgency.
• Works well on a small team where they will need to take initiative, problem solve in unexpected timely situations, and take on a wide variety of tasks.
• Genuinely enthusiastic to learn and grow in a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Passionate about the luxury fashion and celebrity/entertainment industries.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Education/Experience:

• Eligible to receive paid compensation for work.
• Must be an active student in the NYC Area

Special Skills:

• Computer literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and Launch Metrics
