IS Specialist

Position

The IS Specialist is responsible for supporting the organization's applications. They play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of IS operations to support the organization's objectives. Reporting to the IS Manager, who works closely with other team members and HQ IT Managers at a very high trust, develop and implement IS strategies, and ensure compliance.

The IS Specialist should be passionate about applications, processing, user support on applications, have a driven focus, enjoy working in a small team. Your personality will be as much of an asset as your knowledge, technical skills, and your ability to work with others. This position is a hybrid position, three days on-site two days remote

Job responsibilities

• Support SAP Modules that are FI/CO, SD, MM.
  • Provide month end support for Finance Team.
  • Train end users on procedures to FI/CO & SD, MM.
• Supports EDI and vendor partnership.
  • Support Toolbox for EDI
  • Daily reconciliation for EDI orders between SAP/EDICOM
• Support with all integration points for Free Trade Zone
• Support for CEGID & Pro-Concept
• Support for Salesforce

Profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Preferred.
• Strong verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Must be able to work with all levels of the organization and have the ability to explain complex IS Language into common dialog.
• Exceptional Time Management Skills and problem-solving attitude.
• Well organized with ability to work autonomously when needed.
• Team player can collaborate in a productive fashion.
• Able to troubleshoot a large variety of application issues.
• Experience in remote support.
• Preferred knowledge of Windows Operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of Salesforce, SAP Basic, and applications such as O365 suite.
