Job Summary:
As the Retail Technical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in solving challenges and bringing retail solutions to life in North America, with the ultimate goal of elevating the experience for our clients and empowering our store employees. You will lead and sometimes defines the initiatives to improve experience of store employees on the point-of-sale, mobile devices, and other software and hardware used by the front and back of house teams. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise (Cegid Y2 knowledge is a must), a deep understanding of store operations, and project management skills.
Physical presence in our stores, establishing relationships with store leaders, and collaborating closely with Retail Operations teams will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management (75%)
- Lead the definition and implementation of local retail improvement initiatives across the 5 Maisons, always with a focus on delivering an outstanding experience for our clients and store employees. Examples of projects include:
- Digital & iPhone experience assessment & remediation
- Printer & printing remediation across all stores
- POS configuration assessment & remediation
- Time tracking solution rollouts
- Store hardware upgrades
- Lead the regional implementation of centrally developed point-of-sales projects with regional stakeholders, examples of projects include:
- POS migration to cloud
- Mobile POS
- POS upgrades
- Tap-to-Pay rollouts
- Payment Solution rollouts
- Lead all aspects of regional project execution, from requirements gathering and gap analysis to testing, rollout, and post-implementation support.
- Lead project timelines, budgets, vendors, and resources effectively to ensure on-time, within-scope, and within-budget delivery.
- Define and supervise overall budget for equipment, vendors, and services required to deliver the projects.
- Partner closely with key collaborators across all levels of the organization, including business users, IT leadership, regional PMOs, and store teams, to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Develop comprehensive regional project plans, define project scope and deliverables to meet the specific needs of the Americas region.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and roadblocks to ensure smooth project implementation.
Job responsibilities
Project Management (75%)
- Conduct detailed testing and quality assurance procedures to guarantee the user experience and performance of implemented solutions in the regional environment.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) with regional partners, including retail operations, finance, and store teams.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training materials and knowledge base updates to onboard and regional technical support teams.
- Provide post-implementation hypercare support to address any regional issues and ensure a smooth transition
Retail Solutions Ownership (25%)
- Build and maintain retail labs environments in corporate offices for each of the 5 Maisons
- Possess a deep understanding of Cegid Y2 point-of-sale system and other relevant retail technologies.
- Serve as a regional subject matter expert on retail solutions & apps used across the five Maisons in the Americas.
- Be capable of configuring and troubleshooting entire store systems, including POS terminals, printers, payment devices, and associated software applications.
- Investigate recurring and systematic issues, find opportunities for process and user experience improvement on existing point-sale and back-of-house solutions.
- Collaborate with central IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by stores, documenting bugs and usability concerns for timely resolution.
- Provide Level 3 support for retail apps and POS systems, escalating complex issues to central IT teams as needed.
Profile
Qualifications & Skills
Must Have:
- Hands-on experience with Cegid Y2 point-of-sale and mobile point-of-sale system.
- Technical support experience with mobile devices and apps
- Familiarity with basic network and printer configurations.
- 5 years of validated experience in technical project management within a retail environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
Preferred:
- Experience in a multi-brand environment
- Language skills: French (major plus), Spanish or Italian (plus)
- PMP certification.
- Familiarity with Adyen, Avalara, Yoobic, UKG Dimension, Oracle Micros POS

The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000- $130,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. In addition, there is a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks, and a retirement plan with employer contribution.
