Position

The Associate Manager, Travel Retail will support the Senior Brand Manager in driving the Travel Retail Business in the region for Fentyverse! He/she will be responsible for developing the brand in line with the company’s vision and values whilst managing all sales related activities in the assigned region. He/she will be accountable for evolving and executing business strategies to deliver or exceed the business objectives while growing market share and profit.

Job responsibilities

Business Development

  • Implement TR ME strategy to achieve sales goals and profitability.
  • Improve sell-in/sell-out, monitor inventory, and ensure assortment compliance.
  • Analyze POS performance and market trends, recommending distribution changes.
  • Regularly visit key accounts and track competition.

Negotiation

  • Negotiate inventory solutions, advertising, promotions, and space compliance.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with Concept teams and architects.

Finance Management

  • Monitor sell-in/sell-out and client investments, ensuring sales targets and budgets.
  • Consolidate financial reporting and regularly review budgets.

Marketing

  • Execute marketing plans aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Forecast collateral needs and novelties, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Validate product mix and manage contracts for sales agents.

People Management

  • Build and lead an engaged team; conduct monthly reviews.
  • Handle recruitment, training, development, and retention.
  • Manage targets, commissions, and sales reporting; track BAs’ performance via Daxium App.
  • Organize seminars, uniforms, and product allowances for BAs.

Training & Brand Induction

  • Deliver brand training and on-POS coaching.
  • Create and follow an annual training calendar.
  • Optimize travel costs and maintain training quality.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in minimum 2-3 years of Middle East Travel Retail business experience within Beauty, or Retail industry preferred.
  • Strong relationships with retailers across Middle East travel retail market
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (preferred)
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Initiative-taking to meet and exceed goals; drive efficiency and innovation in process to improve overall team function.
  • Excellent collaborator & collaborator with agility to collaborate with cross functional teams, also with proven ability to motivate and inspire direct reports and influence across groups at the global, regional, and local level.
  • Client-centric, omnichannel mindset
  • Creative, solution driven; likes to have fun with beauty.
  • Ability to collect and leverage key performance metrics and data to provide insights and make strategic business decisions.
  • Strong Project Management skill set with managing multiple workstreams simultaneously with remarkable success; able to prioritize, lead and manage projects in a demanding environment.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, experience with Daxium
