Position

We are seeking an experienced Retail Learning Manager to oversee and manage the delivery of learning and development initiatives across the South Asia region. This role will lead new onboarding projects, coordinate product training, support key product learning initiatives, and manage styling programs in collaboration with the global teams.

You will drive the success of regional learning programs, build strong communities of experts and stylists, and ensure effective implementation of training resources across markets. Working closely with stakeholders, you will provide strategic learning solutions to foster growth and excellence within our retail teams across the region.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Spearhead and manage onboarding programs for new retail employees in South Asia, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience that integrates the company’s values, product knowledge, and client service standards.
  • Collaborate with the central learning and merchandising teams to design and deliver regional product training, ensuring retail teams are knowledgeable and capable of effectively selling and supporting key product categories.
  • Take a leading role in implementing new key product learning projects, especially focusing on the Leather Goods category. Ensure the appropriate training resources and sessions are created, aligned with the brand’s strategy and product details.
  • Lead the South Asia styling program, working in close partnership with the central Head of Styling to support the global styling animations and ensure consistent styling excellence across markets.
  • Build and animate a dynamic community of product experts and stylists across South Asia. Work alongside the merchandising teams to ensure ongoing engagement, knowledge sharing, and professional development.
  • Serve as the primary learning manager for the South Asia region, providing hands-on support to local teams and working closely with FCTs (Field Coaching Teams) in the Philippines, India, and Indonesia to tailor learning initiatives to specific market needs.
  • Champion the roll-out and continuous development of the Experts & Senior Client Advisors Academy across the region. Ensure that key training initiatives are successfully implemented and provide guidance to local teams on execution.
  • Work in partnership with internal stakeholders at the regional and local level to develop and refine learning plans. Ensure that learning solutions are aligned with business objectives and the evolving needs of each market.

Profile

Key Requirements & Competencies

  • Prior experience in in retail learning, training, or development, ideally in a multinational retail or luxury fashion environment.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, delivering results on time and within budget.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with regional and local teams.
  • Strong background in product knowledge, with a deep understanding of how to translate this into effective learning programs for retail teams.
  • Ability to tailor training content to meet the specific needs of different South Asian markets, with a strong cultural awareness and the ability to adapt learning solutions regionally.
  • Experience in creating, nurturing, and managing professional communities, especially experts or stylists, and driving engagement and development.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with a capacity to identify learning needs, assess training effectiveness, and implement solutions that drive measurable results.
