Graduated from Ecole Centrale Paris, holder of a Master's degree in Economics from Cambridge University and an MBA from INSEAD, Guillaume Motte began his career at McKinsey & Co. before taking over the General Management of FNAC-Eveil & Jeux in 1999, then FNAC in Switzerland.
In 2007, he became General Manager of Al Tayer Trends in Dubai, before coming back to France in 2015 as Chief Executive Officer at Jennyfer, and then as Chief Executive Officer at Celio.
In 2018, he joined the LVMH Group as President of Sephora Europe and Middle East.
In 2021, he served as Deputy CEO of LVMH Fashion Group.
In 2023, Guillaume Motte was named President & CEO of Sephora.
