On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the "You & ME" tour, LVMH reaffirms its commitment to the Métiers d’Excellence by raising awareness among younger generations and enhancing their employability through a career fair designed to better guide visitors in their career choices.
Between January 31 and April 5, 2025, this unique traveling event will stop in four cities in France and two cities in Italy, offering an unprecedented immersive experience for middle school and high school students, university students, job seekers, and career changers.
Faced with a strained sector, with more than 20,000 savoir-faire jobs unfilled each year in France, this tour, initiated in 2015 in Clichy-sous-Bois, promotes the diversity of these skilled professions and the opportunities they offer.
LVMH is reaching out to future talents to highlight its 280 Métiers d’Excellence, which bring together the majority of the Group’s talents worldwide and is expanding its geographical reach with two new cities.
• In France, Lille, distinguished by its strong student dynamic.
• In Italy, Rome, a cultural capital and historic home to several of the Group’s Italian Maisons.
The tour will begin in Paris on January 31 and February 1, 2025, at the Carreau du Temple. Attendees will include Catherine Vautrin, French Minister of Labor, Health, Solidarity, and Families; Mario Nava, Director-General for Employment, Social Affairs, and Inclusion at the European Commission; Maud Alvarez-Pereyre, Director of Human Resources, LVMH; Marc-Antoine Jamet, Secretary General, LVMH; Alexandre Boquel, Director of Métiers d’Excellence LVMH; as well as the new sponsors and ambassadors of the You & ME tour, including Enzo Lefort, Olympic and world fencing champion.
The You & ME tour will then continue across France: in Lyon on February 19, Lille on February 26, and Clichy-sous-Bois, the birthplace of the initiative, on March 7. It will then move to Italy, stopping in Rome on March 20 and Florence on April 4 and 5.
This fair is open to all with free entry, with reserved time slots for school groups. Visitors will be able to:
• Discover their calling: Through an orientation quiz, visitors will identify which Métiers (Creation, Craftsmanship, or Client Experience) best match their interests and will be guided through a personalized journey. After discovering iconic products of the LVMH group’s Maisons, they will have the opportunity to engage with industry and HR experts from our Maisons, and partner school representatives. Career guides will also be available to assist them in exploring these savoir-faire professions.
• Experience the métiers: Hands-on workshops will be led by Virtuosos and apprentices from LVMH Maisons, as well as exceptional artisans from the Institut pour les savoir-faire français network. Virtual reality experiences and the new “savoir-faire trunks” from Hennessy and Maison Francis Kurkdjian will offer a unique immersion into the heart of our craftsmanship.
• Find inspiration and exchange: The “Excellence Crossroad” will feature testimonials from talents within LVMH Maisons, Q&A sessions on career transitions and professional integration, contributions from LVMH’s Disability Mission, and roundtable discussions led by internal and external experts.
Ten years after its creation, "You & ME" continues its commitment with educational and associative partners to raise awareness among young people and the public about Métiers d’Excellence. During the first leg of the tour, the Group will announce the launch of a national study conducted with the Institut pour les savoir-faire français. This study will analyze perceptions of these métiers, identify barriers, and assess the expectations of younger generations to refine and strengthen awareness initiatives in the sector. The results of this study will be made public at the launch of the "You & ME 2026" tour.
In 2025, LVMH continues its initiatives to improve access to these careers by announcing a new partnership with the Fondation des Femmes, a non-profit organization dedicated to women’s rights and fighting against the violence they experience. Another partnership initiated in 2022 with Le Refuge, which supports LGBTI+ youth facing isolation and discrimination due to their sexual orientation or gender identity, will also continue.
This year, LVMH is joining the European Alliance for Apprenticeships of the European Commission, which recognizes the Group’s decade-long commitment to apprenticeship programs across multiple European countries.
To participate in one of the four dates of this new French edition of the "You & ME" tour, it’s recommended to register via the website: youandme.(lvmh.com).
