LVMH at China International Import Expo (CIIE) 2024

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Sino-French diplomatic relations, LVMH, the world’s leading luxury products group is proud to announce its fifth participation to the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai. 

This flagship event provides the Group and some of its most iconic brands with a unique opportunity to celebrate its longstanding relationship with China, a country that has long been as a source of inspiration, dynamism, and innovation. 

This year, LVMH will showcase the key milestones of its Maisons’ presence in China, beginning with Hennessy’s first exports of Cognac in 1859. The Group’s exceptional 600 sqm Pavilion (Hall 6.2) inspired by French gardens and architecture, will feature more than a fourteen of its most iconic Maisons from 4 different sectors including: Bulgari, Celine, Chaumet, Cha Ling, Christian Dior Couture, Fendi, Guerlain, Hennessy, Loewe, Louis Vuitton, Parfums Christian Dior, Sephora, Rimowa and Tiffany & Co. 

High-level representatives from the Group will lead the LVMH delegation at the 7th China International Import Expo. The Pavilion will be officially inaugurated on November 5th, in the presence of Laurent Boillot, CEO of Hennessy, Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bulgari, Andrew Wu, LVMH Group President Greater China, and Marc-Antoine Jamet, LVMH General Secretary. 

Beyond showcasing its exceptional products, LVMH’s Pavilion will invite the hundreds of visitors to discover the craftsmanship, heritage, and traditions of its artisans. This year’s edition will also unveil the latest innovations and long-term collaborations established with Chinese companies and artists, further strengthening the cultural and commercial ties that have united the Group and China for several decades.   

For underlining our partnership and our friendship with China, its companies, its administrations, its customers, the Group is also honored to announce its presence in the Business France Pavilion (Hall 5.2) alongside other French companies in a dedicated space. 

LVMH has long maintained privileged relations with China, being among the first global luxury groups to invest and establish a presence there. Following Hennessy’s first shipment of Cognac to China in 1859, Louis Vuitton became a pioneer in 1992 by opening its first boutique at the Palace Hotel in Beijing. Since then, LVMH has expanded its presence with initiatives such as the development of two vineyards, especially the renowned Ao Yun, but also the opening of a research centre dedicated to cosmetics in Shanghai and the creation of Cha Ling, a luxury skincare brand. The Group continues to grow, with over 1,800 stores and 21,000 Chinese employees ready to welcome customers across China.
