The women’s private label of Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche, now known as Maison Rive Gauche, has unveiled its new look with a Spring-Summer collection, to be followed by four capsule collections each year.
The concept centers on fashion for all women, from French size 34 to 50 (the equivalent of U.S. size 2 to 18),with an accent on a timeless and elegant wardrobe featuring luxurious materials such as wool cashmere or iridescent silk, and cultivating a distinctive sense of style and meticulous attention to details. For the label’s first capsule, Maison Rive Gauche tapped entrepreneur Alexandra Van Houtte.
Founder of the fashion search engine Tagwalk, Alexandra Van Houtte brings her singular, vision and ability to capture trends to the collection. Designed with noble materials and superb detailing, the pieces express their creator’s expertise and Le Bon Marché’s recognized excellence. Special attention is paid to environmental impact as well, including sourcing of textiles from Nona Source, selected from surplus luxury materials from major luxury houses.
