LVMH is committed to advancing Gender Equity and empowering women across the Group.

Since the launch of the EllesVMH initiative in 2007, the Group has implemented a range of actions to foster a more inclusive and supportive work environment. These efforts include initiatives to achieve gender parity, ensure salary equity, and promote a discrimination-free workplace, as well as supporting work-life balance for all employees.

In March 2025, LVMH is highlighting the EllesVMH Collective mentoring program, reaffirming its commitment to empowering women and accelerating their professional growth. Launched in March 2024, this program aims to become the largest corporate mentoring community globally, connecting women and men across all Maisons, Regions, and functions. It aims to scale up access to mentorship opportunities, proven to have a direct impact on career development and mobility. With over 5,000 talents already enrolled within its first year, EllesVMH Collective isn’t just another mentoring program: it’s a game-changer.

Beyond this program, since 2007 the Group encourages the professional development of women through the EllesVMH initiative. At its heart are key commitments embodied in the EllesVMH Charter, signed by the CEOs of all our Maisons:

Gender Parity

LVMH continues its steady progress toward gender balance, with the objective of reaching 50% women in key positions by the end of 2025, building on the 48% already achieved in 2024. This ambition is a critical component of the Group’s ongoing efforts to support women’s career development.

Salary Equity

The Group continues to monitor and ensure that equal compensation is provided for equivalent work across all positions, through an annual audit.

Discrimination-Free Workplace

LVMH Maisons are committed to a discrimination-free workplace and the Group is signatory of the #StOpE initiative, designed to combat gender-based discrimination in the workplace. The Group is launching an e-learning module in seven languages (French, English, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese), enabling teams to foster an inclusive and respectful environment.

Work-Life Balance

LVMH is actively promoting work-life balance through equitable benefits and policies that support professional and personal growth. Maisons are continuously working on improving equity in benefits for all, including parental and caregiver support globally.

Supporting Local Networks

The network continues to expand globally, now totaling 16 chapters across Australia/New Zealand, China, France, Hong Kong/Macau (Special Administrative Regions (SAR), People's Republic of China), Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Middle East, North America, Singapore, Spain (Iberia), Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, and the United Kingdom. These networks, engaging over 10,000 talents worldwide, foster relationships and mentorship across regions and Maisons.

Transparency and External Certification

As part of its ongoing commitment to transparency and continuous improvement, LVMH has pursued EDGE certification (Equity, Diversity, and Gender Equality), which evaluates an organization’s efforts across four key pillars: representation, pay equity, effectiveness of policies, and inclusiveness. Sephora US & Canada and Tiffany France have already been certified, with 15 additional Maisons in the pipeline for certification.
