We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead operations at our U.S. workshops. Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping production strategy, driving operational excellence, and cultivating a high-performance culture. This hands-on leadership role demands a strong focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and talent development within a dynamic, fast-paced luxury manufacturing environment.

Job responsibilities

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Lead day-to-day production activities, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Foster an inclusive, high-performance culture aligned with Louis Vuitton's values.
  • Establish production goals and develop strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and implement process improvements.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining product excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
  • Oversee new product integration and production launches.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in industrial production management within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven expertise in luxury goods, fashion, or high-end manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership background, managing large teams (20-30 direct, 350+ indirect reports).
  • Advanced proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated success in budget management, KPI tracking, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, strategic decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams while engaging employees at all levels.
  • Proven track record in driving change and leading transformation in dynamic environments.
  • English required, Spanish and/or French is a plus.
