Position
To promote the FENDI brand, thus business through the implementation of effective PR and communications programs in Korea.
To enhance the brand’s reputation, visibility and desirability within the luxury market through strategic communication, relationship management, and collaboration with related functions, partners.
Job responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Formulate communications strategy from strategic planning to implementation for Korea.
- Supervise all PR activities and maximize brand exposure through generating significant editorial coverage on both online and offline media platforms, ensuring editorial ranking hitting pre-set target for different media.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with key media, celebrities, and influencers to maximize online & offline publicity according to brand vision and different projects’ needs.
- Lead the celebrity strategy to enhance brand visibility, especially work closely with brand ambassadors and fully maximize global event initiatives to amplify the brand presences.
- Proactively to explore new promotional initiatives to amplify brand’s share of voice in exposure and positioning. Identify new media opportunities, analyze competition & own performance to ensure effective PR activities and competitiveness in market.
- Lead and support in executing all brand and PR events, including but not limited to large scale brand events, special events with collaborators, product launches and press presentations.
- Collaborate closely with regional team to take guidelines and align work initiatives and make a synergy within a clear brand objective.
- Understand business and project needs and work closely with retail to strategize editorial planning to maximize press coverage to align with different brand initiatives, product launches and PR events.
- To take the lead in formulating and monitoring Korea PR budget. Work closely with the finance team ensuring all projects are executed according to planned budgets as well as in the most efficient and effective manner.
Profile

- Media Planning and Budgeting (Yearly / Monthly) executing all PR action via communication meeting
- Execution all PR actions via communication meeting with AD/Stylists, PR agencies, Influencers
- Planning and execution of paid editorial(cover, products)
- Celebrity endorsement and Seeding(target celebrity and influencer, mediator, push dressing, )
- PR Planning & Reporting : Develop the annual plan & report based on brand guideline, marketing plan and business objectives.
- Managing Relations with Communication VIPs: Regularly develop and strengthen relationships with press & opinion leaders (including celebrities)
- Implementing Brand/Product Event: Take lead of planning and executing
- Brand/Product Event in line with Brand central guideline
- Managing Communication Materials: Manage communication materials of new launched and pillar products on a regular basis
- Managing PR KPIs: Review and analyze PR resultants on a monthly basis, and report to Regional/central office
- Managing Internal Communication: Leverage Internal communication of sharing the plan and resultants with internal team and brand Regional/Central Office
- Supporting Media Crisis: Support MACOM Director to manage media crisis under the group guideline.
Additional information
1. Experience
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in in-house Fashion communications and/or Fashion PR agency background
- Familiarity with luxury retail industry, media scene and market dynamics
2. Education
- Bachelor’s degree in the fields of communication, international relations, PR & Marketing, preferably.
3. Skill
- Able to work independently but also collaboratively with cross functional teams
- Attention to details with good analytical skills
- Experience in digital PR/social media PR a must
- PR savvy and have good journalistic instincts
- Pro-active, creative and willing to think "outside the box"
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish the network
- Presentable, able to serve as an ambassador for the brand to reinforce the brand image with target influencers
- Established connection with fashion media a must, relevant network with relevant celebrities, influencers and KOL in Korea a plus
- Excellent command in written and spoken English

The Fendi Maison was established by Adele and Edoardo Fendi in Rome in 1925. The opening of the first Fendi boutique – a handbag shop and fur workshop followed.
