Job responsibilities

Your Purpose:

To be our Maison's ultimate ambassador, connecting with every client and taking them on a journey through our history, creative directors, codes, products and new seasonal launches. You will leverage the magic of DIOR to build client loyalty through the quality of your welcome and your ability to build rapport and understand client needs. In this way, you are constantly growing your sales and client list.

We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity at our Auckland Boutique.

Profile

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be enthusiastic in achieving sales targets and KPIs
  • Have experience building relationships and influencing client brand loyalty
  • Be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Be a team player who is self-motivated and well-organised
  • Have high levels of resilience and be able to work under pressure and at pace
  • Be passionate about fashion and people
  • Be a role model for DIOR, your colleagues and clients

Well before he embarked on his destiny as a couturier, Christian Dior was fascinated with art. The young Normandy native and several friends opened an art gallery when he was just 23. In 1938 he learned the métier of pattern cutter with Robert Piguet and three years later began working as a designer for Lucien Lelong. Right from the founding of his Maison in 1946, he transformed his dreams into irresistible creations, seeking to break with the somber war years by elevating pure joy.
