We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Director of Global Ecommerce Analytics, direct report to the VP of Global Ecommerce Excellence, to lead our global analytics efforts. In this role, you will oversee the consolidation, creation and animation of global business reviews, ecommerce best practices, and global strategic planning process & analysis. You will work closely with key global partners to aggregate and analyze global market trend insights, digital consumer behavior, sales performance, and customer experience strategies.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in global ecommerce analytics, with the ability to translate data into actionable business strategies to enhance the customer experience across all digital touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
• Overseeing the collection, analysis, and reporting of ecommerce performance across all regions
• Aggregate and standardize ecommerce KPIs and performance metrics across markets to ensure consistency and alignment with global business objectives.
•Lead efforts to analyze and optimize the entire ecommerce customer journey, from acquisition to conversion and post-purchase engagement.
• Work closely with global ecommerce, marketing, product, IT, and operations teams to ensure alignment between analytics insights and business objectives.
• Design and lead the development of comprehensive reports and dashboards for global stakeholders, including senior leadership, to track and measure ecommerce performance and growth opportunities.
• Present data-driven insights and recommendations to improve ecommerce performance, with a focus on increasing online revenue and improving the customer experience.
• Oversee the creation of detailed reports on ecommerce performance trends, competitive analysis, and market opportunities.
• Analyze user behavior, segmentation, and performance data to provide insights that inform website design, user interface (UI), and user experience (UX) improvements.
• Lead efforts in A/B testing, personalization strategies, and other techniques to continually enhance the ecommerce site’s performance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in ecommerce analytics, digital performance analytics, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong expertise in ecommerce platforms, digital marketing analytics, and performance optimization.
• Advanced proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Power BI) and a strong understanding of how to leverage these tools for global reporting and insights.
• Deep understanding of global ecommerce strategies, customer behavior, and performance metrics.
• Experience managing and analyzing large, complex datasets and providing actionable business insights.
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and ecommerce platforms
• Experience in global ecommerce operations and understanding of regional differences in customer behavior.
• Experience in the retail, consumer goods, or direct-to-consumer (DTC) industries.
