We're thrilled to announce the opening of Area Sales Executive, Retail reporting to the Area Sales Manager, Haryana. As the Area Sales Executive for Retail, you will play a pivotal role in managing all formats of Retail channel including traditional, modern, departmental stores etc.

Job responsibilities

How you will contribute…

  • Manage all formats of Retail Channel (Traditional Retail, Modern retails, Departmental stores etc.)
  • Achieve mutually agreed monthly, quarterly and annual Sell Out targets set by the Area Sales Manager.
  • Achieve mutually agreed points of distribution of MHI brands within Retail channel.
  • Maintain, develop and grow distribution points focusing on visibility and correct placement in all outlets in order to expand MHI business opportunities within Retail.
  • Establish MHI as a leading company amongst end consumers, trade.
  • Target sales and marketing activities to outlets to ensure maximum ROI.
  • All meetings and notes to be recorded on the sales app.
  • Attain and maintain the highest standards of service provided to trade customers and develop relationships at all levels within the customers’ business.
  • Develop and implement brand specific promotion activities within accounts in conjunction with trade marketing to drive tertiary sales.
  • Ensure that brand merchandising standards are achieved at all times utilizing POSM and creative enhancements. All activation's/ promotions to be captured in pictures and the same needs to uploaded in company portal for documentation.
  • Monitor competitor activity / dealing / pricing and promotions within territory and provide prompt feedback to the sales and marketing teams.
  • Recommend new outlets for promotions and ensure that incremental business support is gained upon the venues being selected.
  • Ensure all promotional activity is carried out efficiently and effectively within budgeted parameters and within the respective brands’ standard guidelines.
  • Work closely with marketing team to evaluate methods of improving the effectiveness and operational efficiencies of promotional activities – provide all aspects of feedback.
  • Ensure Receivables and Collections as per plan to contribute to the Company‘s bottom-line.
  • Monitor the financial status of each assigned account within your specific territory and alert the Area Sales Manager and National Credit Manager of any concerns in order to minimize the incidence of bad debts

  • Minimum 5-8 years of Retail experience in FMCG / consumer goods / similar industry/ consumer goods / similar industry.
  • Master’s in business (Sales & Marketing) / Hotel Management Graduate
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet targets.
  • Understanding of Luxury goods market. 
  • Excellent written and verbal proficiency in English.
