PR Assistant - Men's

Position

Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented PR Assistant to join our New York City-based Men’s PR team. As a Public Relations Assistant, you will embrace the opportunity to manage sample trafficking across a diverse range of products. This includes RTW, leather goods, shoes, and accessories, for national and regional North American media outlets (print, online, and social).

Job responsibilities

Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:

• Assists in all aspects of the Men’s Universe (RTW, Leathergoods, Shoes, Accessories) with a focus on sample trafficking, logistics, and credit requests for national and regional North American publications and international shoots happening in New York.
• Manages Launchmetrics Men’s sample inventory under PR Manager’s supervision.
• Monitors all sample arrivals and departures to ensure all product is accounted for.
• Maintains organized Showroom & Sample Closet.
• Executes daily tasks such as sample trafficking with international offices, showroom management and merchandising, DMR reporting, press clippings and recaps.
• Manages all hard copy and electronic press kit mailings.
• Maintains organized LVNA Photo & Press Kits Library and distributes press materials to publications.
• Supports with execution of daily Fashion PR Intern(s) tasks.
• Provides support on brand image events and press days as needed.

Profile

We are excited to speak to individuals with 2+ years of true progressive PR experience within the high-end fashion or luxury goods industry. A comprehensive understanding of the luxury retail landscape is highly valued, alongside exceptional communication skills that enable you to articulate ideas with clarity and precision across diverse settings and audiences. We seek a candidate adept at tailoring their message to resonate effectively, fostering understanding and engagement with individuals at all levels. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Launchmetrics or similar PR management platforms is essential for success in this role.

The appointed candidate will be offered an hourly range of USD $25-$27/hour, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions.

The position requires 4 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office, located in the heart of Midtown, Manhattan.
