We are looking for an analytical and organized Financial Controller to join our team and be responsible for the controlling and reporting of three local entities - Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia - with more than 100 mil EUR annual turnover. The position includes direct responsibility for controlling operations in Romania and coordination of outsourced accounting services in the other two countries.

💡 Key Responsibilities:

• Sales and KPI computation and analysis;
• Review costs and perform cost benefit analysis;
• CAPEX analysis (budget following, payback, return on investment);
• Participation in preparation of the annual budget process and related budget revisions;
• Performing various tests with the aim of ensuring high accounting records accuracy;
• Preparing and presenting to group controlling department weekly, monthly and quarterly reports in accordance with IFRS (Sales reports, Balance sheet, P&L, cash flow, CAPEX), which include both actual and budgeted figures;
• Identifying and explaining variations vs. budget;
• Ensures compliance with local regulations and group policies;
• Relationship with internal and external auditors for statutory and group audit processes;

✨ Key Qualifications:

• Excel – good level;
• ERP experience (SAP is a plus);
• Minimum 3 years experience on a similar position;
• Previous experience in accounting is a must
• Experience in retail is a plus;
• English – advanced level;
• Exposure in a multicultural environment;
• Working well under pressure and with tight dead-lines;
• Very organized, analytical skills.
