For its sixth year of partnership with La Fabrique NOMADE, association promoting the professional integration of refugee and migrant artisans, LVMH renews its commitment and supports the launch of the new Traits d’union 8 collection.

Created in collaboration with Louis Vuitton designers, it has been presented to the public in the pop-up store at the Carrousel du Louvre and is now available on their website.

This collection is the result of an exceptional collaboration between La Fabrique NOMADE’s artisans and the creative talents from Louis Vuitton, Soley Johanns and Paula Reichert for ready-to-wear, Eva de Sainte Lorette for the embroideries, and Matthias Schneider for the jewelry.

Beyond the creative aspect, Traits d’union 8 is part of a professional integration program combining technical training and practical experience. 92% of the artisans trained by La Fabrique NOMADE now practice their profession in France.

Since 2019, LVMH has supported La Fabrique NOMADE through various collaboration pillars: skills sharing, workshop visits, donation of materials and fabrics for their collections. This partnership also deals with manufacturing with large-scale projects, such as creating an embroidered costume for Maison Patou, producing a triptych of embroidered trunks with Louis Vuitton, an upcycled collection with Le Bon Marché, participating in the production of outfits for the volunteer medals bearers at the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024, and many more.
