Reporting to the Managing Director for Singapore & Malaysia, you will be accountable for the development and implementation of innovative merchandising solutions, ensuring maximum profitability and sell through objectives are achieved across all product categories in Singapore and Malaysia.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop strategies to optimize and achieve all sales objectives of the Louis Vuitton business across all product categories in Singapore and Malaysia.
- Provide insights on products, clients, trends, and competition to zone merchandising team for integration into the buying strategy across all launches with the aim of optimizing sell-through.
- Responsible for planning and execution of product launch campaigns with a 360 approach.
- Analyze sales trends and react with reorder opportunities and rebalancing.
- Define merchandising strategies specific to retail channels i.e., travel retail and domestic retail.
- Provide the retail management team with relevant quantitative and qualitative updates on sales performance vs KPI targets.
- Develop and drive the overall visual merchandising strategy (including but not limited to window projects, key-events, and product launches) in line with business needs.
- Evaluate and elevate visual merchandising teams' performance and work quality to ensure the results meet the standards of the brand and in accordance with VM guidelines.
- Lead and develop the visual merchandising team of 1 direct report in Singapore with dotted line reporting of the store team across Singapore and Malaysia.

Key Requirements & Competencies
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a fashion merchandising/buying role with an internationally renowned / luxury brand.
- Excellent presentation, analytical and organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills with high sensitivity towards fashion and trends.
- Good leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Ability to multi-task and work with tight timelines.
- Excellent organization, planning & problem-solving skills.
- Positive, self-initiative, a team player.
- Highly adaptable and flexible to accept new ideas and procedures.
