General Purpose of the Position

We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy IT Intern to join our IT team at Loro Piana. In this role, you will be working closely with our IT team to assist in streamlining some internal processes, assist with IT projects and technical support, and learn about the IT operations of a luxury retail company.

Job responsibilities

  • Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems.
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support.
  • Organize and maintain IT resources while gaining hands-on experience.
  • Define and streamline internal processes while participating in meaningful projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on IT-related initiatives and new hire set up.

Profile

Skills and Abilities required

  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Compensation

Loro Piana uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market-competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance, and tenure.

While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, Loro Piana reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of $20 USD per hour.
