LVMH is present through several activations including the support of three Paralympic athletes - Timothée Adolphe, Pauline Déroulède and Marie Patouillet. LVMH is also marking its presence at Club France and Maison LVMH.

28 August: 

Opening Ceremony  

LVMH and its Maisons are proud to have contributed to the Opening Ceremony for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. The ceremony kicked off with a festive parade down the Champs-Elysées by 180 plus delegations from nations across the globe. LVMH helped showcase this first ever Opening Ceremony for the Paralympic Games in Paris thanks to the exceptional engagement of its artisans and teams, who worked hand in hand alongside Paris 2024 with passion and creativity to once again make LVMH the Artisan of All Victories.  

Among the participating Maisons of this global event: Berluti, Louis Vuitton and Vuarnet.

29 August: 

Marie Patouillet – Para-cycling 500m time trial 

After qualifying in the final of the 500m Time Trial in the morning, para-cyclist Marie Patouillet won the silver medal.   

First medal for Team France! 

Maison LVMH – Talk VETA 

Jean-Remy Touze, Group Disability Inclusion Officer, and Jean-François Dufresnes, President of the association Vivre et travailler autrement (VETA), whose project is to promote the autonomy of autistic adults and their socio-professional inclusion, discussed the partnership between LVMH and VETA during the first talk of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games at Maison LVMH. 

30 August: 

Pauline Déroulède - Wheelchair tennis 

In a very close match, Pauline Déroulède and her partner Ksénia Chasteau lost to their Colombian opponents in three sets.   

31 August:

Pauline Déroulède - Wheelchair tennis 

Our athlete Pauline Déroulède was unable to overcome her Colombian opponent Angelica Bernal, losing in two sets 6/3 - 6/1. Well done Pauline for your performance! 

Maison LVMH – Secours Populaire 

More than 70 children helped by Secours Populaire spent the day at Maison LVMH. The programme included a tour of the showcasing areas, a workshop led by Make Up For Ever and the presence of the Paralympic Phryge, before heading to the Aquatic Centre to watch the para-swimming events.

Timothée Adolphe – Para-athletics 400m 

After brilliantly qualifying for the 400m semi-final in the T11 category in the morning, Timothée Adolphe repeated his excellent performance by placing 1st in his semi-final with the best time. See you tomorrow evening for the final! 

1 September:

Marie Patouillet – Para-cycling 3000m pursuit 

Marie Patouillet, Paralympic champion!  

After qualifying in the morning in the finale, Marie Patouillet beats the odds to win Paralympic gold against her French teammate Heidi Gaugain!  

Well done Marie and see you next week for the road races.

Timothée Adolphe – Para-athletics 400m 

Timothée Adolphe and his guide, Jeffrey Lami, qualified for the final with the best time in their semi-final heat, and eventually won the silver medal in the 400m T11 category, only beaten by the Venezuelan duo.

2 September:

Maison LVMH – Talk Marie Barsacq 

For this second talk during the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, LVMH was lucky enough to welcome Marie Barsacq, Director of Impact and Legacy for Paris 2024. She spoke about the legacy of Paris 2024 and the impetus given by the organisation of the Olympic and Paralympic Games to sustainably boost physical exercise and sport among the population and promote education, living together and social inclusion. 

3 September:

Maison LVMH – Talk Sephora 

Nessim Khalfi, Global Brand Initiatives Director, Sephora, and Noémie Savreux, member of the Sephora EME Pro Team, were at Maison LVMH this lunchtime to talk about Sephora's presence at the Champions Park during the Olympic Games Paris 2024. In particular, they talked about the athletes’ make-up and the work carried out on their looks to enhance them for this momentous occasion.   

4 September:

Marie Patouillet – Para-cycling time trial 

Marie Patouillet finished 5th in the individual time trial (C5). See you on Friday for the road race! 

5 september:

Timothée Adolphe – Para-athletics 100m 

After a very fine silver medal in the 400m T11 event, Timothée Adolphe and his guide Charles Renard qualified for tomorrow's final by finishing 1st in their semi-final.

Maison LVMH – Talk Paris 2024 with Joachin Roncin 

Joachim Roncin, Design Director for Paris 2024, was at Maison LVMH this lunchtime to talk about the genesis of the Paris 2024 identity and the importance of a global, creative approach to all aspects of the event. 

Timothée Adolphe – Para-athletics 100m 

In the T11 100m final, Timothée Adolphe and his guide Charles Renard took 2nd place and a fine silver medal in 11'05. Paralympic runner-up, well done Timothée and Charles!

6 September: 

Maison LVMH – Pauline Déroulède  

Our LVMH athlete Pauline Déroulède visited Maison LVMH and discovered the contributions of our Maisons for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024.  

7 September:

Maison LVMH - Timothée Adolphe 

Our athlete and double Paris 2024 Paralympic vice-champion Timothée Adolphe visited the Maison LVMH on Saturday. It was an opportunity for him to explore the different areas and discover the many facets of this unique place. 

Maison LVMH – Collaborators & VETA day 

Maison LVMH welcomed the employees selected at random from among the participants in The Heartful Steps internal mission, in support of the VETA association (Vivre et Travailler autrement). The winners and beneficiaries met for a time of exchange and sharing, including a skills workshop to discover the Group's Métiers d’Excellence, before heading off together to a Paralympic event.   

8 September:

Closing Ceremony

At 8.30pm, the Closing Ceremony of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games at the Stade de France took the form of a tribute to Parisian nightlife, bringing together 24 DJs from the French electronic music scene. A great evening to celebrate the athletes and their achievements, and a unique format for a Games ceremony!

LVMH and its Maisons Celine, Dior and Louis Vuitton are proud to have dressed several of the artists present this evening. Anetha, Tatyana Jane Breakbot & Irfane, Busy P were dressed by Louis Vuitton. Cassius, Polo & Pan, Ofenbach and Nathalie Duchêne were dressed by Maison Dior. Chloé Caillet, Alan Braxe and DJ Falcon, Kungs and Martin Solveig by Celine.
