Position

General Purpose of the Position:

We are seeking a Retail Operations Intern to join our Retail Operations team at Loro Piana. The Retail Operations intern will provide exceptional support to our stores across North America by assisting in various operational projects to provide seamless operational procedures. Our ideal candidate will possess strong organization skills and attention to detail, with a passion for supporting operational excellence for retail stores.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the supply ordering process, including printed materials, supplies, and inventory management.
  • Aid in the store packaging order process to ensure efficient operations.
  • Contribute to the creation of weekly Retail communications.
  • Participate in project management activities for store openings, renovations, and relocations.
  • Provide operational support during Loro Piana sales events.
  • Assist the Retail Operations team in daily tasks including processing orders, managing uniforms, and coordinating with vendors.
  • Aid in Project Management by updating guidelines and optimizing processes.

Profile

Skills and Abilities Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in progress
  • In-store retail experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and other digital tools
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent problem-solving and project management skills

Compensation

Loro Piana uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market-competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance, and tenure.


While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, Loro Piana reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary of $20 per hour.
