LVMH Circularity

Announced during the LIFE 360 Summit in December 2023, the creation of LVMH Circularity aims to organize all the channels for recycling packaging, products and their components, and to facilitate their reintegration into production lines. The initiative concerns all the Group's activities, and has already been implemented for LVMH's Perfumes & Cosmetics business.

LVMH Circularity is being rolled out in the Fashion & Leather Goods sector with an ecosystem made up of the CEDRE dismantling platform, Nona Source, Weturn and the “Agence du don en nature”, which enables the Maisons to direct and valorize all their unsold or unused products or components.

LVMH Circularity will contribute to achieving the Group's objectives in terms of the circular economy, and thus to the protection of natural resources.

CEDRE

CEDRE (Centre Environnemental de Déconditionnement et Recyclage Ecologique) is dedicated to the sorting, recycling and recovery of all waste from the manufacture, packaging, distribution and sale of cosmetic products. This deconditioning platform handles several types of waste: obsolete packaging items, obsolete alcoholic products, advertising materials, in-store testers and empty packaging returned by customers. More recently, textiles have also been processed and recycled.

Nona Source

Born of the DARE intrapreneurship program within LVMH, Nona Source recycles unused fabrics and leathers from LVMH's Fashion & Leather Goods Maisons, enabling fashion and design professionals to source exclusive materials at unbeatable prices. The startup provides a concrete solution to address the challenges and opportunities of circularity, a key pillar of LVMH's LIFE 360 environmental strategy.

Weturn

Weturn was created in 2020 and offers a service 100% dedicated to textile recycling, enabling major fashion houses, textile professionals and manufacturers to recycle their stocks, production offcuts and intellectual property-protected products into new yarns and fabrics. The company has created an exclusive channel giving its customers access to a network of logisticians, recyclers, spinners and textile manufacturers united around a common goal: to respect resources and raw materials by extending their lifespan. The startup won the LVMH Innovation Award 2022 in the "Sustainability" category.
